Lindsay Lohan is once again in the throes of a legal battle, but this time she's on the other side of the courtroom. The controversial star is looking to sue makers of the popular GTA V for allegedly using her likeness for the video game.
Lohan's lawyers are preparing a case against Rockstar for using her image in the game without Lindsay's permission. The game character is seen involved in paparazzi-themed missions. One of the said missions involves having the player helping the Lohan-like character escape from hounding photographers. In another, the figure is seen at a hotel very much like Chateau Marmont, a favorite spot for Lindsay Lohan. The player is then tasked to take photos of the figure having sex.
The female on the game cover is also said to resemble Lindsay Lohan too much for her liking. While the animated girl in question has also been said to resemble Sports Illustrated model, Kate Upton, it is actually of Shelby Welinder. The model has come out to say that she was paid to pose for the cover of the popular video game. She even posted a photo of the invoice that was used to pay her for her likeness.
The young actress was last seen snapping a pic of herself during Thanksgiving. Lindsay Lohan shared a selfie while she made yams over the holiday.
This controversial soon-to-be legal battle isn't the only thing putting the Lohan name in the headlines. Lindsay's estranged father is also making waves when he demanded to see an advance copy of Dina Lohan's tell all book. The tome's release is now on hold after Michael Lohan forced publishers to stop the book from reaching the shelves until he's given his OK. Michael insists that Dina honor the mutual gag order both parties are legally bound to honor.
