Kaley Cuoco starts the new year by getting hitched to tennis player Ryan Sweeting on Tuesday night in a private ceremony.
"The Big Bang Theory" actress exchanged vows with Sweeting at Hummingbird Nest Ranch, situated in the Santa Susana Mountains found up north of Los Angeles.
Cuoco shared the good news earlier this morning by posting a picture of her sharing a smooch with her new husband, the bride sporting a strapless pink gown and her groom dressed in a black shirt and trousers.
"Yep :) #thesweetings @ryansweeting," the actress captioned the picture she posted on Instagram.
Preparations for the wedding had been underway the entire week, including Kaley Cuoco constantly making trips to the gym and the salon to prepare for the big event.
Cuoco and Sweeting started with a summer affair this 2013 and caused a stir appearing together for the first time in the Emmy's. The two had a fast-track relationship, already annoucing their engagement by September 26, which was just three months after they first started dating.
Cuoco, after announcing her engagement with the tennis player, shared that she "didn't have any reservations" about marrying 26-year-old Sweeting.
"From day one I just knew immediately and it's been magic," Cuoco shared just shortly after saying yes to Sweeting's marriage proposal in September.
"We grew up with the same people, we just never met," the Big Bang Theory star added. "So I kind of feel that I've known him my whole life. I know that it seems a little crazy on paper, but it's what works for us."
This is the first marriage for Cuoco and Sweeting.
Kaley Cuoco had previously been in a relationship with Johnny Galecki, her Big Bang Theory costar for two years, then for a while got engaged to musician Josh Resnik.
Before dating Sweeting, Cuoco had also been previously linked with actor Henry Cavill, a romance that was finished before the initial hype over the pairing died down completely.
In her November guest appearance in The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Cuoco shared that she feels her life is really good at the moment that she cannot express it in words.
