A star of the MTV hit reality show "The Hills" has confessed that parts of the show were made up.

Actress and model Audrina Patridge admitted in a recent interview that show producers created some of the drama between the show's participants though she said it was not that way in the beginning.

"In the beginning a lot of it was real," Patridge said during the interview, according to UPI.  "As it went on, it was very manipulated and guided and you're kinda put in these scenarios where you would show up and you didn't know what you were in for until you were there, and you wanted to run out but they lock the door on you."

The claims made by Patridge mirror those of former castmate Kristen Cavallari.  Last month, Cavallari made headlines of her own by saying that "The Hills" was fake.

"I had fake relationships, fake fights," Cavallari said, according to The Inquisitr.  "Here, I can tell you this I don't care anymore at this point it's been so many years.  Brody Jenner at the time was dating Jayde Nicole, and if you don't know who those people are this is going to go right over your head."

Cavallari also said that her previous show, "Laguna Beach," was also somewhat scripted.

"Laguna Beach, they really just manipulated situations and put us in situations that we normailly wouldn't have been in or we'd have to film something that maybe happened a month ago or hasn't happened yet--stuff like that," Cavallari said, according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail.

"When I decided to join "The Hills," I knew exactly what I was getting into, I knew exactly the character they wanted me to be, so I said, "Listen, I'm game.  What do you want me to do?"

Even though "The Hills" was somewhat scripted, Audrina Patridge appears to have no regrets about appearing on the show, according to Us Weekly.

"Looking back, to be honest, I don't think I would do anything different," she said.
