Lindsay Lohan Announces Premiere Date For New Reality Show on Oprah Winfrey Network

Lindsay Lohan could be turning over a new leaf for good this year, especially with the premiere of her new reality television show on March 9 at the 10 p.m. slot.

The "Mean Girls" actress will star in a documentary series directed by Emmy nominee Amy Rice. The show will follow Lindsay Lohan on her "journey through recovery following a very public period of crisis," sources confirmed in an official statement.

In the documentary, the Freaky Friday star will be "strikingly candid" about the aspects of her life and how she had struggle to get back on her feet. Cameras will follow Lindsay Lohan around New York City as the former child actress reconnects with family and friends while simultaneously taking steps to rebuild her life amid living in the spotlight.

OWN, Oprah Winfrey's Network, shares that "Lindsay" will be as honest and candid as possible in "discussing everything from her emotional recovery process to her exhausting run-ins with the paparazzi."

In August 2013, the former child star appeared in Oprah Winfrey's talk show for a tell-all interview wherein she told the veteran talk show host that she's more ready to "get the thing that's made me the happiest in my whole life back, which is just work really hard and stay focused and prove myself in the way that I did before in the past that I lost. I have to regain the trust of people in my career that have their doubts and I fully respect that on their behalf."

Oprah Winfrey's Channel also shared the premiere date of "Deion's Family Playbook," a new reality televisionn that focuses on Deion Sanders as he raises his children as a single father. The series will debut on March 1 at 10 p.m.

OWN will also feature a reality TV show centering on four close friends who have been together more than one week called "Love in the City." 
Aside from Lohan's show, OWN will also feaure "Single Moms Club" by Tyler Perry. The series will highlight a group of single mothers from various walks of life who are bonded together.

The premiere date was confirmed to be around fall of 2014 but no actual date was given.
