Juan Pablo Maradiaga, 41, was charged with attempted murder for flinging his 2-year-old son off the second-story balcony of his Florida motel room early Tuesday after he grew "frustrated" with his baby.

The deranged father jumped from the balcony of his room at the Budget Inn in Kissimmee just moments after throwing his little boy.

Both father and son survived from the fall and Maradiaga now faces an attempted murder charge.

"I got a baby and a young man that's laying on the ground," a man who found the bodies of the father and son told the 911 dispatcher around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. "They're out ... they're unconscious. I just pulled up in the parking lot and I seen them lying on the ground unconscious."

The disturbed father was staying at the Kissimmee Budget Inn located along 307 East Vine Street when he chucked his little boy off the balcony early Tuesday morning, officials confirmed.

Authorities reported that surveillance video captured the enraged father flingin his little boy 25 feet out over the parking lot from the balcony on the second-story about 12 feet above the ground. Just seconds later, Maradiaga followed after his son and jumped as well, reported a local news outlet.

"He's drunk," the 911 caller told dispatchers. "His foot is broke."

The 2-year-old boy's face was covered in blood when police officers and paramedics arrived at the inn, while his father had a broken leg, with a fractured part of his bone sticking out of his skin.

The father and son pair were airlifted to nearby hospitals and the toddler suffered fractures in his right arm and right orbital bone of his face as well as abrasions on his stomach and a bruise on his head, reported the media outlet.

The affidavit says that Maradiaga, who had been under fire in 2010 for possible domestic violence, smelled of alcohol when he was found.

He told police officers he threw his little boy from the balcony after he became frustrated with the child. The deranged father was allegedly asked to watch the 2-year-old Monday night instead of a babysitter while the boy's mother worked the night shift.
