On last week's Arrow season 2 episode 10 titled "Blast Radius," we saw the Oliver & Co. being pitted against the explosive contraptions the Shrapnel has planted for the people who were attending the "Unity Rally." We also found out that Barry Allen was still unconscious amid all of the threats and predicaments surfacing at Starling City. This week, things will continue to get worse and the Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) will have to work with Laurel (Katie Cassidy) upon the latter's request. Although Oliver is caught in a dilemma of either believing his former girlfriend's accusations about Sebastian Blood's (Kevin Alejandro) real identity or not, he will reluctantly team-up with Laurel to retrieve more information about Blood's past. However, things will take a different turn when they are getting close to the shocking truth about Blood's identity, and Laurel will be walking on thin ice after her estranged drug addiction will surface which will then lead to her arrest. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) will continue to flaunt his super strength all thanks to the mirakuru, and this time it's Sin (Bex Taylor-Klaus) who is going to witness his superb abilities. In the process though Roy will feel so enraged that he will lose control over his emotions, leading to his desire to almost kill an innocent man. On the other hand, spoilers reveal that Blood will find a way to visit his institutionalized mother Maya, who apparently witnessed all the bloody records of Blood such as that time when he killed his own father. In one of the most recent panel discussions with the writers, director, and actors of the show, staff writer Robin Harry dished that "a gut feeling' may have stimulated Laurel into investigating Sebastian's real identity. "Her investigation was preposterous," added Harry. "She automatically assumed criminal intent without evidence, stole a random piece of paper on his desk, tracked it to a mental institution -- and then immediately believed the delirious mental patient in the throes of psychosis. I mean, as viewers we know she right, but...seriously?" Another staff writer, Nick McHatton, also talked about Laurel's desire to find out the truth behind Blood's identity. "All those years of giving legal aid to people has probably given Laurel great instincts for spotting liars, and she picks up on Blood's scent quickly," McHatton said.
