The Chicago Bulls may have lost Derrick Rose and traded Luol Deng, but the team is not yet looking past this season as reports suggested that they are planning to make big moves before the deadline.

Bulls general manager Gar Forman recently clarified that the Bulls will not rebuild and also quashed reports that they are going to tank away this season in order to put themselves in the lottery of the highly-anticipated 2014 NBA Draft.

And with a playoff spot still within reach, reports said that he Bulls are open to dealing Carlos Boozer before the February 20 trade deadline.

Sports World Report indicated that the Bulls could deal Boozer to the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for either Eric Gordon or Tyreke Evans, who are both being shopped by the Pelicans.

"New Orleans Pelicans is looking at trading Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans and the Chicago Bulls could be a destination. While Rose out, the Bulls still has a chance to make the playoffs in the east, as it is currently in fifth position despite being 20-20 and after making a little run to the second round last season, it could be looking at doing that again," Sports World Report noted.

Gordon looks like a better fit to the Bulls compared to Evans. The 25-year-old shooting guard is averaging 15.9 points, giving the Bulls another scoring threat that could make up for the productions of Deng and Rose.

However, it is still unclear whether the Bulls are willing to surrender other assets aside from Boozer in order to convince the Pelicans to strike a deal involving Gordon.

Golden State Warriors, Chicago Bulls Still Talking About Trades

In other Bulls trade rumors, reports indicated that the Bulls are still in contact with the Warriors about a potential deal involving veteran point guard Kirk Hinrich.

The Warriors made it no secret that they are shopping for a backup point guard to Stephen Curry to keep him fresh in their impending playoff run.

Rumors suggested that Warriors are looking to trade sophomore Harrison Barnes to the Bulls, but the Warriors are expected to haggle for draft picks or additional assets in a potential Hinrich-for-Barnes deal.
