Will Ferrell Dies at 46: Police Confirms Actor's Death of Vehicular Crash in Circulating Report

Will Ferrell is dead... at least that's what a circulating report claims. The report was first published by MediaMass, which claims that the actor unfortunately died last on January 21, 2014. However, when another report about Ferrell's alleged death surfaced from Global Associated News, many questioned the veracity of both reports since their claims do not match at all. Hence, it was found out later on that both reports were simply celebrity death hoaxes and the actor has now joined the long list of celebs and famous personalities, who allegedly died because of false reports.
According to MediaMass, Will Ferrell or John William Ferrell was found dead on Tuesday, Jan. 21. The report even stated that the alarming news caused a lot of fans to like an "R.I.P. Will Ferrell" Facebook page and echo their condolences to the actor's family and friends on social media.
The synopsis for the "R.I.P. Will Ferrell" page reads: "At about 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday (January 21, 2014), our beloved actor Will Ferrell passed away. Will Ferrell was born on July 16, 1967 in Irvine. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page."
Because of its believable nature, thousands and thousands of fans reportedly voiced out their sympathy online. MediaMass reported that many began to write message of condolences on the Facebook page, expressing their sadness over the sudden demise of the 46-year-old comedian.
Meanwhile, another news created a buzz online when it published an article claiming that Will Ferrell is indeed dead.
The report claimed that Will Ferrell passed away in a single vehicle crash between Ipswich and Willowback in Queensland.
The said news article even included specific details such as the occurrence of the accidental crash at around 5:30 a.m. UTC/GMT+10.
Furthermore, it even claimed that Ferrell was on vacation in the area when the accident happened and that Royal Queensland Police confirmed his identity through his photo ID which was retrieved at the scene.
Nevertheless, more and more fans became skeptical when they found out that that unlike MediaMass, Global Associated Press stated that Will Ferrell passed away on Jan. 23, 2014.
Because of the difference on the alleged dates of Ferrell's death, many commented that these could possibly be just another string of death hoaxes in Hollywood.
Will Ferrell joins a long list of people who reportedly died in celebrity death hoaxes. They include: Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Will Smith & Woody Harrelson.
Meanwhile, fans who found out that both reports were actually hoaxes couldn't help but rejoice.
The actor's reps are yet to comment on Will Ferrell's alleged death, but they assured fans that Will Ferrell.
