Carmelo Anthony sounded like he is leaning towards staying with the New York Knicks when he talked about the arrival of incoming team president Phil Jackson.

ESPN reported on Monday that Anthony feels the Knicks, who is expected to introduce Jackson on Tuesday, will become more attractive to players with Jackson's arrival.

Anthony, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, said that winning a championship remains to be the main deciding factor this summer.

The Knicks are nowhere near to becoming a strong title contender at this point, but Anthony said that he is willing to do whatever it takes to win a title - with the Knicks.

"I'm willing to do whatever," Anthony said. "As long as it's gonna put me in a position to win, I'm willing to do whatever. I'm not sold or stuck on my play."

Anthony, who is known for his scoring mentality, said that he is also willing to change his playing style if Jackson asks him to do so, and if it will be the way for him to win his first ever NBA title.

"What I've been able to do these past 10-11 years has gotten me at where I am right now. If Phil wants to come in and change that this late in my career, if it's going to help me win a championship, I'm with it," Anthony said.

The Knicks have been struggling all-season long, but they have made strides recently, winning six-straight games that put them just three-and-a-half games behind the eighth-placed Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference standings.

Anthony, who is averaging 28.0 points and 8.3 rebounds per game this season, expects changes with Jackson now having full control of the team's front office, while also admitting that he is excited about his impending partnership with the legendary coach.

"Everybody as an organization, as a city, as a whole, our fans in general as well, everybody's excited to see that," Anthony said. "We are playing good basketball right now too, so it's like a lot of things coming into place right now."
