Phil Collins Dead at 63: Shocking Death of Singer Confirmed A New Celebrity Death Hoax!

Phil Collins is dead at 63. At least that's what a new circulating report is claiming. The famous "Against All Odds" singer allegedly passed away Wednesday this week. An "R.I.P. Phil Collins" Facebook page was even created to honor his passing. However, it was found out later on that the report was simply another celebrity death hoax.
According to Media Mass, a circulating report is claiming that famous singer Phil Collins is dead. But it was not specified how the "Another Day in Paradise" died.
Because of the shocking news, an "R.I.P. Phil Collins" Facebook page was created. It reportedly get nearly one million "likes" right away as fans shared it and even voiced out their condolences and sympathy to the family and friends of the singer on the said page.
"At about 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday (March 26, 2014), our beloved singer Phil Collins passed away. Phil Collins was born on January 30, 1951 in Chiswick. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page," the description for the Facebook page reads.
Media Mass further reported that messages of condolences to the talented 63-year-old songwriter and musician also landed on Twittersphere.
Nevertheless, a quick web search on the report claiming that Phil Collins has died will reveal that no other site has published such entry except for Media Mass and the Ringersidereport, a site notorious for slamming make-believe death hoaxes.
At the comments section of Media Mass, several fans took their time to air out their thoughts on the site's report.
"It's Richard Collins who played Phil Colling on the TV show Trailer Park Boys that died, not the singer," a Mark Canfield wrote.
"Are these people retarded? Really, no mention that the man who played the character of Phil Collins was the one to actually pass away? No? OK we'll just label this as a Hoax instead of simple misconception," a Matthew Vealey commented.
By visiting the main webpage of Media Mass, one would see that the site itself has specified its satirical nature. It is a Website designed to mock mass media by systematically publishing hoaxes about celebs and personalities.
Phil Collins is the newest personality to be victimized by a death hoax. Other recent victims of this viral hoax include: Chumlee, Wayne Knight, Lil Wayne, Will Smith, Blake Lively, Selena Gomez, and many more.
