Anne Hathaway Hate: Trying to understand it all from an Outsider's point of view.

With her newest blockbuster movie Rio 2 coming out, Anne Hathaway will have to get ready for another round of publicly, blatantly being "hated on".
Beyond the whole supposed drama behind the Awards' season last year, people outside of the Hatahaters can't seem to put their finger on it; where it's all coming from.
Besides hate seems too strong a word, perhaps intense dislike fits better. But no, the Hatahaters insist that their hate is entirely justified, citing that Anne is the worse kind of an A-list movie star who is amongst other wordy adjectives; insufferable, pretentious, annoying, entirely overbearing with nothing at all endearing about her.
They also find her fake and too posed with her over theatrical demeanor. Her Theatre-type personality has been likened to the Election's Tracy Flick and Glee's Rachel Berry.
She tries too hard(to the point of force feeding herself, and her talent in everyone's faces and in consequence automatically believing that she deserves acknowledgement for it.)
One thing that the Hatahaters don't resort to, is belittling Anne's acting prowess. They actually commend and respect her for it. And because of it they are also deeply saddened that the charming persona that she brings on screen just doesn't translate into who she is in real life.
Many comparisons have been made between Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lawrence, where as Hathaway ( Who was part of a Most annoying celebrities list 2013) is more reserved, poised, and always ready with an answer (Hatahaters would say well-rehearsed and insincere) a complete contrast with Lawrence who is well-liked because she is young, down to earth, self-deprecating and funny.
And yet it seems everything is getting widely out of hand. Anne isn't doing anything illegal, she isn't doing anything to purposely offend or hurt anyone. So why does she continue to get more slack than let's say Amanda Bynes, or even Justin Beiber. Why should she be subjected to all this negativity because she can't help being unlikable.
Does the real problem behind it all lie perhaps in the Hatahaters inability to let go, that when they had built up steam on the Anne bashing they couldn't quite seem to stop doing it.
Do they even need reasons anymore? is the real question. Perhaps as the way with the internet, the act of Anne Hating (going so far to inspire memes) has become a trend within itself.
Cornell University's Associate Professor, Dick Goncalo, provides a possible explanation behind this situation
Psychologists call this "informational social influence." he says where the parties are joined together in a "mob mentality- saying that the way of thinking is, " 'If the majority has done my thinking for me, I can move on to something else,' " Dr. Goncalo said. "People don't want to think."
Anne herself is unaffected, laughing everything off saying, "Everybody hates me, it's fine, I'm used to it!"
