Danica McKellar has been nothing but stellar in the DWTS dance floor thus far. However, after Thursday's rehearsal, it seems that the competition will be tougher for her to say the least. For one thing, a broken rib could get in her way of giving it all as guest judge Ricky Martin joins the show.

According to USA Today, the "Wonder Years" star tweeted about her bone-breaking injury after the "Dancing With the Stars" rehearsals.

"So...I broke a rib in yesterday's #DWTS rehearsal. Trying my best to pull thru and could use your prayers!! #wanttokeepdancing," the 39-year-old actress-author tweeted.

Tulsa World reports that every season in 'Dancing With The Stars' at least one contestant suffers from serious injuries and this season, Danica McKellar is the first victim.

The site further says that the rib injury she got during Thursday's rehearsals could keep her out of the competition, but it now depends on her determination to give us a great show Monday night.

Time reports that Danica McKellar is far from being voted off the show since she has consistently entertained the country with her impeccable moves.

In fact, she was just one point shy of being the show's first perfect-scoring performer earlier this month with her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy.

Apart from Billy Dee Williams, who withdrew from the show in Week 3 because of back and arthritis problems, DWTS 2014 has been injury-free until now.

Just last Fall, competitor Bill Nye reportedly tore ligaments in his knee during the competition. Other stars who suffered from serious injuries in the dancing competition include: 'Bachelor' star Melissa Rycroft (herniated disc), Melissa Gilbert (concussion and whiplash), Maria Menounos (two broken ribs and a stress fracture in her foot), Evan Lysacek (two broken toes and a concussion).
