Pau Gasol will become an unrestricted free agent this summer, and is expected to draw the interest of several teams, who are looking to shore up their frontline.

In a recent interview with Marca, Gasol said that he will not rule out returning to the Los Angeles Lakers especially if the team show strong interest in retaining his services, but he quickly added that he would also consider other options.

"I'm not ruling anything out," Gasol said. "Of course, I hope the Lakers will make an offer - one that is good enough for me to consider - but I'm open to any offers that I would consider interesting and motivating for my present and my future."

Gasol also added that the chances of winning a title will be the main factor to consider when he makes his decision this summer, knowing that he is already nearing the twilight of his career.

The 33-year-old center admitted that he is also intrigued by the possibility of making a return to the Memphis Grizzlies, saying that the opportunity to play alongside his brother, Marc, will be too good to pass up.

"The city of Memphis attracts me because it's a city I know, there's an opportunity of playing with my brother and they have a solid team," said Gasol, who spent six-and-a-half seasons in Memphis before getting traded to the Lakers.

Gasol also cited the Chicago Bulls as one of his preferred destinations this summer mainly because of the opportunity to team up with Derrick Rose, and possibly, EuroLeague star and countryman Nikola Mirotic, who could finally make his move to the big league in the offseason.

And if the San Antonio Spurs also express interest in signing him, Gasol said that he will not let the opportunity go, offering praises to coach Gregg Popovich and the Spurs' team-first mentality.

"The Spurs players maybe don't rack up statistics, but the team and the coach they have, to me, seems like a very good option," Gasol said. "In the end, I'm more interested in a team than an individual player and how I would adjust and be worked into a system."
