Nissan North America is in a hiring mode. The automobile giant is set to add at least 20 technology-related jobs for its Denver Tech Center. Based on the words of the Nissan PR representative, Steve Parrett, the company has already recruited 15 new workers. With the addition of 20 more, the total number of workers at the Denver Tech Facility Center will be 50. The jobs that will be added include processes analysts, desktop support, service desk leads and desk analysts. The PR rep didn't mention anything about salary ranges, but he was confident that the remuneration packages are "competitive for those positions in this market."
Nissan opened the Denver site early in 1999.
People who would like to send over their resume for one of the positions should direct their interest to www.nissan.jobs. More information about the jobs is included in detail, regarding specific skills, departments and requirements.
On the other hand, numerous other companies, such as the cosmetic giant Procter& Gamble have indicated that they will significantly increase their workforce, adding approximately 800 jobs to the field of marketing, sales and information technology.
The job market has been unstable in the past years, but the field of technology is still booming. New graduates with good IT and marketing skills would be a hot item on the job market.
Most job openings nowadays seem to be in the world of IT, media development, helpdesk support and desktop analysis. Other ''hot'' areas that hire new graduates are the feel of medicine, physical therapy, finance and accounting.
New graduates have to constantly develop their skills to have a competitive advantage over other candidates in their field.
Always check job posts for the hottest new openings! You will find something that will match your abilities for sure, and it's just a question of time to find the right job for yourself.
