Previously on 24 LIVE ANOTHER DAY Season 9, we saw the loss of another major character in the series after President Heller decided to surrender to Margot while securing back up by enlisting Jack Bauer. Jordan was also hanging for his dear life, but somebody was slayed in the end. A desperate Jack even have to bother Simone, who is really sick, just so he could get more details about Margot and her plans. Elsewhere, we saw Ian and Margot talking about Heller's plan to surrender, and Margot saying that she is going to keep her word if the U.S. President indeed agreed to all her demands. Then, in a heart-wrenching twist, Jack found out that Heller had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's; thus, he was not hesitant on the idea of resigning and surrendering himself to Margot. In the leaked clip of the upcoming 24 LIVE ANOTHER DAY episode, it was revealed that President Heller is actually alive. The promo shows a black SUV getting into an underground garage where the U.S. President is waiting quietly. Jack then could be heard telling Heller, "Get in the car and let me do what I do best." Actress Mary Lynn Rajskub, who plays Chloe, recently opened up about the series and said, "I read Episode 9, and I emailed [producer] Howard [Gordon] and all the writers and I was like, 'Oh my God, I can't even believe what is happening right now!' I'm on the show, and I know, but this is outrageous, so exciting, so over-the-top." The actress even gushed, All the scripts have been really good, and it's exactly what you just said: the intensity with Jack and that last block of the season, and now it's happening even more quickly in 12 [episodes], so that's just upped the ante on the excitement, and the adrenaline."
