Bob Beckel has called 'Bachelorette' star Andi Dorfman a "SLUT" during a live broadcast analysys of the tenth run of ABC's reality dating show "The Bachelorette" and the follow-up special of the show "After the Finale Rose."
ON Tuesday, Fox News Channel's "The Five" weighed on the dating series, and the 65-year-old political pundit and USA Today columnist expressed his aversion towards Dorfman after it was revealed that Nick Viall slept with her on the show prior to giving her final rose to this season's winner Josh Murray, the New York Daily News has learned.
"She's a slut!" Beckel said, "I'm not kidding you. She sleeps with someone else, and then doesn't tell the guy about it. This is what America's come to, this crap."
After Beckel dropped the S-word, "Bachelorette" fan and "The Five" co-host Andrea Tantaros quickly commented on Beckels words, saying, "Are you kidding me right now? Excuse me, Bob! You probably sleep with a different woman every night."
"I'm not some Bachelor, Bachelorette," Beckel fired back at Tantaros.
Tantaros then replied with: "Those in glass boudoirs, Beckel, those in glass boudoirs!"
Beckel's rather displeasing comment comes after the FOX News show aired a clip of Dorfman telling Viall that revealing the details that they slept together in the Fantasy Suite was "below the belt" because "that's something that should be private."
Greg Gutfeld, also a co-host on the show, gushed that he found Andi Dorfman's words about privacy very funny.
"You're on a reality show where you're making out with guys every day," Gutfield said. "And now all the sudden he says something honest and you go, 'Oh, wow, you just stepped over.' Nothing is private when you do a reality show."
Then, former White House secretary Dina Perino also commented on "The Bachelorette Season 10" finale.
"That whole episode really lowered the bar on 'The Bachelorette," which is hard to do." She then added, "But I think we just surpassed ourselves here and lowered it even forward. Congratulations to us."
However, the episode ended with Beckel apologizing to Tantaros.
"I want to apologize for a word I used in that Bachelorette segment, that woman who slept with two guys," he said, adding, "Well, maybe it was more than two I don't know."
