Nike will kick off the month of August with a bang as they are scheduled to release sneakers that will surely turn heads on the sneaker market.
Coming out on Friday, August 1, is the excellent-looking edition of the Nike LeBron 11, which is officially listed as the University Red/Metallic Gold colorway of this popular sneaker.
This edition sports a university red-based upper part accented with several metallic gold areas such as the Nike Swoosh logo and the LeBron James logo, finished off with a translucent blue outsole.
According to Nike, this edition represents the evolution of the LeBron 11 with its new low-cut makeup and a new external cage, which were applied to suit James' preference on the hardcourt.
"The Hyperposite protection and dynamic Flywire in the upper combine with Lunarlon and a Nike Zoom unit in the midsole to maximize performance. James's physique and powerful play require a shoe that can withstand extreme torque and pressure, while maintaining breathability and a lightweight feel," Nike noted.
The LeBron 11 Elite SE, which is expected to be one of the hottest items on the sneaker market this month, will be available Friday, 8 a.m. EST, and will sell at $295 per pair.
Coming out alongside the latest edition of James' signature sneaker is the new colorway of Kobe Bryant's ninth signature shoe with Nike - the Kobe 9 Premium.
The Kobe 9 Premium will come out in a "Metallic Silver" edition, which is officially listed as Black/Metallic Silver-Hero Blue colorway of the sneaker. It sports a black and silver-based engineered mesh upper part that sits on a grey outsole.
"The newest color of the Kobe 9 features a black and metallic silver gradient pattern on the Engineered Mesh upper. The black and white speckled-midsole features a white Kobe signature on the injected nylon heel clip and the Nike Lunarlon midsole delivers an ultra-soft, responsive ride," the shoe as described by Nike.
The Kobe 9 Premium "Metallic Silver", which is also expected to get a lot of attention this month, will also hit stores on Friday, 8 a.m. EST, with retail price set at $160 per pair.
