Alexis Bledel's boyfriend and the "Sin City" star first met on the set of AMC's period drama series when the actress had a multi-episode arc as an unhappy housewife who seduced Kartheiser's Pete Campbell.
Though sources close to the two television actors claim they didn't date until the season wrapped up, it's obvious that Kartheiser was smitten by Bledel right away.
"We were completely professional. We never saw each other out. We never-it was nothing, it was just work," the actor said that time to deny the dating rumors circulating between them.
However, Jon Hamm and "Mad Men" creator Matthew Weiner later on gushed that they knew that a romance was about to blossom between the two the moment they saw each other.
"I did know he liked her from a very early point," Hamm told Vulture in April, at which point the twosome have already confirmed that they are boyfriend-girlfriend. "I was a supporter of that union."
Weiner revealed that he even approached Vincent about it and told him that he should not "blow it!"
Looks like Hamm and Weiner's eyes are really good in spotting a blossoming romance. Not long after they confirmed that they bare dating, Bledel and Kartheiser got engaged in March 2013.
