Israel and Palestine revolutionaries' 5-day ceasefire will end midnight in the Gaza Strip. Will this end the unresolved conflict between the two countries? For the reason, that there were no signs that the Egyptian mediators in Cairo is succeeding in getting a deal to end or resolve the conflict.
As per Israeli Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu last Sunday, that Hamas (the Palestinian Sunni Islamic Organization) should not assume in accomplishing a diplomatic triumph over the war that causes 2,000 Palestinians - many of which are civilians - with 64 Israeli Armies and three civilians dead.
The Israeli delegation to Cairo is under strict directives that they should insist the security needs of the state of Israel. Only if there is a strong response to their security needs will they agree to reach considerations.
The Guardian was told Monday that the military official of the Israeli Delegation was still up for the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip, a conflict-ridden issue as Hamas and Islamic Jihad have constantly governed giving up their weapons.
And while all of these are all happenings, people are trying to end the conflict between Israel and Palestine, since the Gaza has also been home to refugees.
More than 235,000 people were still crammed into 81 of the United Nations' 156 schools, where classes are supposedly to start Sunday.
After a month of fierce fighting between Israel and Palestine, more than 1900 Gaza residents were killed .
Alai Kamal Elaf, a 35 year old mother of eight children said that their fate will end up in the streets. They are staying right now at a school after fleeing from Shejaiya, east of Gaza City.
After all that has been happening and the upcoming ceasefire in Gaza Strip between Israel and Palestine, the biggest question right now is will this really end the conflict between these two countries? And will human rights organizations take a much deeper look on how civilians and refugees be helped on their situation like this?
