NFL Schedule, Live Stream – Sunday Night Football: San Francisco 49ers, Colin Kaepernick To Face Chicago Bears

The San Francisco 49ers will look to score their second win in week 2 of the 2014 NFL season when they collide with the Chicago Bears in their regular-season debut at the Levi's Stadium on Sunday night.

With so much questions about their chances after a relatively quiet offseason, the 49ers proved their doubters wrong in their season-opener, scoring an impressive 28-17 win against the Dallas Cowboys.

Colin Kaepernick, who signed six-year contract extension worth $110 million in the offseason, proved that he deserved the lucrative deal with an impressive debut.

The 26-year-old quarterback gave the Cowboys a lot of headache last week as he completed 16-of-23 passes for 201 yards, while also throwing two touchdowns - both for Vernon Davis.

Aside from Kaepernick's outstanding game, San Francisco's defense also surpassed expectation as they were expected to struggle with linebacker Aldon Smith and NaVorro Bowman.

"Everyone that's been talking about our defense, about how we won't be as good and what not, I don't get caught up in all that," said 49ers LB Patrick Willis, who had one interceptions and six tackles against Dallas.

"The only thing that matters to me is how we perform on the field on game day with whoever is on the field. Those guys that aren't with us, they are certainly missed and hopefully they'll be back soon, but right now, we just have to focus on those guys that are out there," Willis added.

On the other hand, the Bears will look to bounce back from a surprising 23-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills and avoid their first 0-2 start since the 2003 NFL season.

Jay Cutler had a good debut for the Bears as he completed 34-of-49 passes for 349 yards with two touchdowns, but made a crucial mistake in the fourth quarter.

"I've seen Jay in my time here do a lot of the right things with the football," Bears coach Marc Trestman said of Cutler. "I'm disappointed for the team and I see how hard he works. ... He lost himself for a minute and made a decision that I know we've seen other great quarterbacks make and he certainly made it there."

The 49ers-Bears match will start at 8:40 PM EST and will be broadcasted live on NBC. Online live stream will also be available via NBC Sports.
