As part of the momentous episode, the cast and crew of Supernatural had an exclusive event at Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver, Canada on Oct. 18, where our lead actors echoed their gratitude to the fans for making this milestone possible. "There's a marriage that's happened between the show and its fans," actor Jensen Ackles said on the red carpet of the event. "Somehow, we inspired them, and now they're inspiring us to continue doing what we do." For almost a decade now the show has followed the journey of the Winchester siblings and the other characters who have obviously won the hearts of many viewers. Showrunner Jeremy Carver also teased about the special episode and according to him "Fan Fiction" is "a little bit subversive" and "a love letter [to the fans] wrapped in a little bit of craziness."
