A Houston dog stuck in jug for over two months has been set free by a local family who plan to adopt the 5-month old mixed breed German shepherd puppy.

She said she felt guilty for the state of the animal, which she has since named Bucky (short for Bucket) - knowing that the feeder stuck on his head came from her barn.
