In light of the rape controversy involving beloved veteran comedian Bill Cosby, a new name has surfaced.
In an exclusive interview with the New York Daily News, former Playboy Bunny P.J. Masten has made claims that she, along with her fellow Playboy Bunnies were raped by Cosby in 1979. Masten recounts that the incident happened back when she was working as a "Bunny manager" at the Playboy club in Chicago.
During the interview, Masten detailed how the actor/comedian allegedly lured her into his hotel room at the Whitehall hotel in Chicago, after he promised that he would take her out to dinner. Masten also recounts that Cosby was with several other men smoking cigars when they gave her a glass of Grand Marnier.
The shocking revelation came when Masten claimed that the next thing she remembered was waking up next to Cosby at in the wee hours of the morning, without any clothes on.
"The next thing I knew it was 4 o'clock in the morning and I woke up naked with this disgusting man next to me," Masten said.
According to the report, Masten also claims that there are many others like her who went through the same ordeal with the 77-year old Cosby, but are afraid to come out due to personal reasons.
The report adds that this was not Masten's first time to be involved in a high-profile rape case involving a celebrity figure. In 1997, National Basketball Association sportscaster Marv Albert was accused of trying to force Masten into performing oral sex on him, while he was scantily clad in women's lingerie. The incident reportedly happened in 1994, in a Dallas hotel room.
Hugh Hefner, Playboy's name and face spoke about the matter, wherein he simply says that he is disappointed about what happened, given that he considered Cosby as a "good friend for many years."
"I would never tolerate this kind of behavior, regardless of who was involved," Hefner said.
