Selena Gomez and George Daniel are spending time together while Taylor Swift is planning a double date, Hollywood Life reported.
Selena Gomez is reportedly dating 1975's drummer George Daniel. Gomez's close friend Taylor Swift is happy about the news.
An insider revealed, "They are attracted to each other and laugh a lot and have fun whenever they see each other."
Swift is allegedly encouraging her best friend with the new romance since she is also dating 1975's singer Matt Healey. The "Shake it off" singer is reportedly seeing Healey for two months now.
"Taylor is definitely pushing for it to blossom into a full-blown romance. She has been singing George's praises to Selena and raving about how much fun it would be to double date," the inside added.
A few weeks ago, the girl buddies went together to the 1975 concert. Swift even posted an Instagram video of her and Gomez with the caption: "Yeah you wanna find love, Then you know where the city is. @selenagomez #the1975," according to Just Jared.
The "Blank Space" singer has always been supportive of her close friend's love life. After Gomez's high profile break up with Justin Bieber, Swift has encouraged her to move on and love herself first. In an interview with Daily Mail, the Latina singer revealed her best friend's advice.
"She thinks I should constantly surround myself with people who are going to make me better, that are going to challenge and motivate me. It kind of stuck to me. I want to surround myself with those people," Gomez said.
Furthermore, at the American Music Awards, Gomez performed "The Heart Wants What it Wants," which made Swift teary eyed. The song is an ode to Gomez's on-and-off relationship with Bieber, Gossip Cop reported.
Meanwhile, Swift performed at KIIS Jingle Ball on Friday while Gomez attended a charity event in Beverly Hills.
