Kristen Stewart allegedly broke up with Nicolas Hoult since he is still in love with former girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence, Entertainment Wise reported.
Stewart reportedly got fed up with Hoult's obvious feelings for Lawrence and decided to stay away from the actor. An insider revealed to "Lifestyle" magazine about the actress' difficult situation.
"Nick is still in love with Jennifer. You can hear it in the way he talks about her -- she's the love of his life. He still talks to Jen, too, which also made things difficult for Kristen. She always felt like there was a chance Nick and Jen would reconcile," the insider said.
The "Twilight" actress is reportedly upset with Lawrence about the circumstances. The actor has contacted his former beau recently amid the nude photo scandal.
"Nick was devastated for Jen when her nude pictures were hacked and felt guilty and responsible because they were for him. He still adores Jennifer and so do his family. He's been calling her and they've been speaking regularly on Skype. Their relationship is getting closer and his family would love for them to get back together," an insider revealed according to Design & Trend.
Lawrence and Hoult started dating at the set of "X-Men" but last summer, they began having problems due to schedule differences. The pair will be working together again for the new sequel "X-Men Apocalypse." The insider added that the former lovers are excited to spend time again on set.
Meanwhile, Stewart started spending time with Hoult in October while filming their movie "Equals." An insider revealed how close the two celebrities were while shooting.
"Kristen and Nick are inseparable. They are constantly hanging out together when they aren't on set. They've really bonded with each other and are like best friends now," the source said, Hollywood Life reported.
Although the pair was spotted going out together, there was no confirmation of the alleged romance.
On the other hand, rumors surfaced that Lawrence and "Hunger Games" co-star Liam Hemsworth are attracted to each other. As of this time, no direct statement has been heard from the involved celebrities.
