Letter to tooth fairy - A little girl wrote a letter to the tooth fairy to censure the mythical figure for failing to show up to appointments with her, but honoring those with her brother.
"(Not Very) Dear T.F.," she writes, "This is the second time you've Done this. You forgot me. So if you're not going to come, then, I'm going to keep my own teeth. You are through collecting teeth from Jennifer...From Now on I'm keeping my own teeth."
Now an adult, Jennifer Rist, who is identified as judokitten on Reddit, was only 9-years-old when she penned the adorable letter to the tooth fairy. She concludes the letter by writing; "Unsincerely, Jennifer E. P.S. Keep collecting from Mike, though. Obviously you like him better."
According to Jennifer, who is now a mother of two, her letter to the tooth fairy came after she realized the mythical figure was not real. "So, I had lost a tooth, but I was suspicious about the actual validity of the toothfairy's magical abilities. So, I didn't tell anyone about the lost tooth. Lo and behold, she didn't arrive," Jennifer revealed.
Jennifer said her father recently found her letter to the tooth fairy, which she described as "passive aggressive."
Jennifer told Today that she figured out her Mum was the one playing the role of the tooth fairy when she received a reply to her letter, which spoke of the untidy state of her room. "I couldn't get to your pillow the night before last because I got stuck in the mess. Maybe if you can clean your room, I could get to you in a timely manner," the reply reads.
