Patrick Carney Shoulder - After getting smacked on the ocean floor and dislocating his shoulder, a popular Rock drummer is being forced to face the music on the side lines.

Reports indicate that Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney was rushed to the hospital after dislocating his shoulder in a freak accident.

The incident happened on the Saturday while Patrick Carney was at St. Barths. He dislocated his shoulder after a giant wave smacked him to the ocean floor.

According to local reports, Patrick Carney's shoulder is still sore and in the process of recovery. The drummer was initially put in the emergency room where he received treatment after being put under anesthesia.

The 34-year-old Grammy Award winner confirmed the news when he posted a picture on social media featuring the dislocated shoulder after it had been reset.

Patrick Carney, who forms Black Keys with guitarist/singer Dab Auerbach, posted a photo on Instagram with his shoulders and a caption, "Tune into my new lifetime movie. 'Dislocated shoulder' airing right now," he wrote.

The Black Keys landed their first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart in May 2014 with 'Turn Blue.'

The duo are expected to begin their extensive Black Keys Turn Blue World Tour with a benefit concert in Los Angeles on Feb. 6.

The news of Patrick Carney's shoulder injury has since gone viral on the Internet with fans of the Rock-Blues group Black Keys wishing the drummer a speedy recovery.

It is still not clear of Patrick Carney's shoulder would be fully healed in time for the Black Key's scheduled European tour dates, which begin in February.
