Anna Kendrick Red Panda: 'Into The Woods' Actress Reveals She Is Obsessed With Cute Red Pandas [VIDEO]

Anna Kendrick - Fans of the 29-year-old actress got a peek into her love for red pandas after she blurted on her new-found obsession for the Asian lesser panda on NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday, Jan 5.

Anna Kendrick was speaking about spending the Christmas in New York while promoting her new movie Into The Woods. But despite missing out on the wonderful time with her family, she stumbled on a cute furry animal that made her day.

According to Anna Kendrick, she visited the Prospect Park Zoo in Brooklyn on Christmas Day and found out that red pandas were present in the zoo.

"They're like a fox, and a racoon, and a bear, and a dog, and a cat. They are like every adorable animal in one animal," she told Seth Meyers. "I am so obsessed with them now that I have seen one in person that I started to like re-imagine my whole life, like what do I have to do, how badly do I have to sell out to be rich enough to buy a red panda."

Red pandas are indigenous to China and the Himalayas. Although they are referred to as pandas, this cute animal behaves more like a cat. Increased deforestation and poaching has put the existence of red pandas at risk. Red pandas are currently listed in the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) as being prone to extinction. Red pandas are also regarded as vulnerable in the IUCN Red List.

Anna Kendrick told Seth Meyers that she wants to have a farm of red pandas. If the Into The Woods actress follows up with those plans, she may just lend a helping hand to the endangered animal.

Anna Kendrick recently revealed that she is not confused about the kind of man she wants in her life. The Cake actress, who appears in the February edition of Fashion Magazine, gave some of her thoughts on relationship.

"The idea that Cindarella get cheated on by her prince is the most twisted and genius concept," Anna Kendrick explains. "I've never really gone for the razzle-dazzle types, no quarterbacks, no flashy guys and no Prince Charmings."

"The wrong kind of guy to fall in love with is the guy who will let go of the steering wheel as a joke," she adds. "A guy who finds it amusing to make you uncomfortable, which is more common that you'd think, is someone you want to avoid."

The red panda-lovin Anna Kendrick's Into The Woods is currently in theatres. Catch her new movie Cake alongside Jennifer Aniston when it is released on Jan. 23.
