"Miss Universe" 2014 Updates - The "Miss Universe" organizers have finally revealed the first batch of the official list of the judges and performers for the 63rd Annual "Miss Universe" Pageant's coronation scheduled on Jan. 25. The pageant will be held in Doral, Florida and will be televised by NBC and Telemundo.
The "Miss Universe" 2014 coronation night will be hosted by Natalie Morales of "Today" show and MSNBC's Thomas Roberts.
As an update, the Los Angeles Times revealed that the first group of judges to join the competition panel includes: eight-division world boxing champ and Filipino politician Manny Pacquiao; television host and shoe designer Kristin Cavallari; Spain's "Sexiest Man Alive" and TV/film actor William Levy; reality star Lisa Vanderpump and fashion journalist Louise Roe.
The announcement of the "Miss Universe" 2014 panel of judges was posted on the pageant's official Facebook page.
"Terrific news! Some of the celebrity judges for the 63rd Annual #MissUniverse Pageant were announced today!" the opening statement of the post reads.
Aside from the judges, the organizers also revealed the performers who will grace the stage of Florida International University's US Century Bank Arena. According to TV by the Numbers, platinum-selling solo artist Nick Jonas will be performing a three-song medley ("Jealous," "Chains" and "Teacher") during the evening gown competition.
In addition to Jonas, 20-time Latin Billboard Award and multi-talented singer-songwriter Prince Royce will also showcase his singing prowess during the swimsuit competition, ESPN revealed.
Meanwhile, as the "Miss Universe" 2014 competition heats up, Venture Capital Post reported that there have been some early crowd favorites. Among them are Nia Sanchez of USA, India's Noyonita Lodh and Melissa Gurgel of Brazil. While Mary Jean Lastimosa of the Philippines gets the most attention from the social media for her advocacy for peace and humanity.
The 2014 "Miss Universe" pageant will feature almost 90 candidates from all over the world. The beauties will be judged in three major categories namely: evening gown, swimsuit and interview. At the conclusion of the 3-hour event, The Daily Mail reported reigning "Miss Universe" 2013 Gabriella Isler of Venezuela will hand over the crown to her successor.
