Veronica Vain - A 23-year-old Florida University graduate is making news after quitting her Wall Street internship at a global asset management firm to pursue a career in the adult film industry.
Paige Jennings reportedly worked as an intern for Lazard Asset Management from 2, June 2014 to January 9, 2015 when she decided that finance was too boring and started posting nude selfies from the office bathroom on social media.
"I just left a job on Wall Street for a porn career because I can't stop masturbating at work," Jennings wrote on her Twitter account under the name Veronica Vain.
Jennings says her decision to leave finance for the adult film industry was well thought out. The recent FSU graduate says her short time in Wall Street revealed her incompatibility with corporate world which suppressed her strong sexual urges.
"I could not think of anything that I love doing more than having sex, reading and learning about sex, talking about sex with other people...and I knew that I would probably be most successful if I could surround myself with sex and be accepted for it," Jennings said.
"Intellectually speaking, I love financial analysis and thinking. However, I found that I was not cut out for the politicking required to be successful, and sitting at a desk for eight or more hours a day really sucks the life out of you. More poignantly, it seems that being openly sexually confident and respectable are mutually exclusive in the corporate world for a woman, and that seriously irritates me," Jennings said.
"I have a finance degree and knew I wanted to apply it in business. I couldn't find my sweet spot and I did think about how I'm sexual and how much I enjoy anything related to that." "And I knew that's never going to fly in a very conservative environment."
Paige Jennings said she hopes to be successful in her new career path and has since joined an online reality porn talent show The Sex Factor as her way to break into the adult film industry.
Producers of the show have invited Jennings for an audition in Las Vegas next week during the Adult Video News Awards.
"She speaks really well. She's intelligent. She's beautiful and she's down for whatever," said Buddy Ruben, executive producers of the show, who replied to Jennings application within three hours of receiving it.
"I thought, if I was ever going to do porn, I was never going to come in (through) the bottom, where girls can get messed up, and beaten, and things like that," Jennings said. "I was like, if I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it smart, I'm going to have control, I'm going to make a business out of it."
Jennings as Veronica Vain on Twitter says she informed her firm of her decision to quit two weeks before walking out. She is confident in her ability to be successful. "I think I could tear this industry up...when it comes to scenes, it's definitely going to be something to watch." "I'm confident in those abilities," she said.
Veronica Vain, Jenning's social media name, has gone viral since news of Jennings career decision started making rounds.
