Barden Bellas fans will surely be thrilled as the sequel for the much-loved 2012 musical-comedy film "Pitch Perfect" is slated for release on May 15 by Universal Pictures. The spin-off will reunite original cast members Anna Kendrick, Skylar Astin, Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp and Brittany Snow. It will be directed by Elizabeth Banks.
"Pitch Perfect 2" is a sequel of the critically acclaimed musical comedy film "Pitch Perfect," which gave way to the global popularity of the Barden Bellas. As it is set to make its silver screen comeback this May, fans are quite ecstatic for some "Pitch Perfect 2" spoilers.

In a spoiler report by Sounds Blog, "Pitch Perfect 2" will feature singer and "The Voice" coach Christina Aguilera. She will reportedly have a cameo role in the sequel. However, this rumor is still unconfirmed both by Aguilera and Universal Pictures.
The rumors about Christina Aguilera's appearance in the much-awaited "Pitch Perfect 2" started last November, FDRMX revealed. But this has not been confirmed and observers said that Aguilera's cameo had been quite impossible since the singer was pregnant during the time when the film has been shot. It was also reported that maybe the film's PR team just wanted to drag her name to attract more fans to watch the sequel.
Meanwhile, "Pitch Perfect 2" has been creating a lot of buzz lately. According to Screen Rant, the movie marks Elizabeth Banks' first feature film as a director. The film, written by Kay Cannon, was loosely based on the non-fiction book, "Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Capella Glory," by Mickey Rapkins.
Though several "Pitch Perfect 2" spoilers claim that Christina Aguilera will be having a cameo performance in the movie, it has not been officially confirmed. The only fact right now about Aguilera is her return to "The Voice" as the only female coach. And as for the film, the confirmed appearances are only from Pentatonix, the Filharmonic and Penn Masala, Banks told Yahoo! Movies.
