Microsoft Reportedly Plans To Release Nokia Lumia 1030 Soon

Nokia Lumia 1030 will reportedly be released in the coming months, according to Fuse Joplin.

Back in December 2014, an image claimed to be the Nokia Lumia 1030 was posted on Twitter by a French leaker. The photo showed the handset with an interchangeable back and it will reportedly come with wireless charging.

The speculations started after the release of Nokia Lumia 1020 in 2013. The handset was highly praised for its 41-megapixel primary camera and high quality photos. It was even branded as the "best Windows phone", therefore, people anticipated the unveiling of its successor.

The successor was named now as the Nokia Lumia 1030 and it reportedly has a better camera with 50 megapixels. This is considered as the best camera for smartphone nowadays since a 20-megapixel cam is still a bit rare.

This speculation is backed up by the fact that Microsoft would like to give its clients a better version of their latest handset. The company should give consumers a reason to purchase the new model although the old one is already good.

As for its design, Nokia Lumia 1030 is reported to have an aluminum framework and a 5.7-inch HD screen. The device will reportedly have 720 x 1280 pixels with OLED display. The secondary camera is reported to have 5 megapixels. Other rumored features are Zeiss optics and LED flash.

It will reportedly run with the latest operating system for Windows phone with Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 chipset and quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU. The internal memory is reportedly 32 GB with 16 GB of RAM, Gadgets NDTV reported.

Nokia Lumia 1030 will not be the long-awaited Lumia flagship handset. Although there are a lot of speculations about the unreleased device, there is still no official news from Microsoft to dispel the rumors. There are reports that the handset may not push though since the company is working on a Lumia 1335, according to Phones Review.

As of this time, fans can make use of the high quality camera of the Nokia Lumia 1020, which is available in Amazon for a starting price of $169.95.
