Tesla P85D - People love cars, and fast ones even more. Since its release last October, the 691 horsepower Tesla Model S P85D has proven this to be true.
Elon Musk's Tesla P85D electric sports car is super fast, offering 687 ib-ft-of torque - it has beaten different brands of fast cars in races. Some of these cars, reknowned for their speed, which have fallen short of the Tesla P85D, include a Dodge Challenger Hellcat and a Lamborghini Gallardo.
The Tesla P85D, which goes for $120,000, can park itself and has a button called the Insane Mode. Once pressed this button can make the car accelerate from 0-60 MPH in just 3.2 seconds. The Insane Mode can be quite an experience for unsuspecting passengers.
Brooks Weisblat, CEO of car 'freak' site DragTimes.com, has been taking unsuspecting friends for a ride in his new Tesla Model S P85D and hitting the Insane Mode button.
In a recently released video, Brook captures the reactions from passengers of different ages when the Insane Mode is launched. The Insane Mode literally shoves passengers into their seats and takes them on a wild ride.
As expected almost all passengers not used to that kind of speed were shocked and reacted hilariously, expressing themselves with curses.
"It's very safe, the car has all-wheel drive and is very stable the entire time. We've even done 0-60 in 3.3 seconds in the rain with no tire spin at all, " Brooks said in a statement about the Tesla Model S P85D insane mode.
The CEO of Tesla Motors Elon Musk has retweeted the video of Brooks friends freaking out when the Insane Mode is struck. "Great DragTimes video of people experiencing P85D 'Insane Mode'acceleration for the first time," he wrote.
