Arrow Season 3 is about to get more exciting when episode 13 titled "Canaries" airs tonight. For one, the original Canary is back. Or so Laurel thinks. Apparently, Laurel as Black Canary will face her sister when Vertigo finds out what the former's biggest fear is. The result is an epic fight sequence between the sisters. There are a lot of things to watch out for when The CW's hit series returns tonight. There's the return of super villain Vertigo to Starling City, which will immediately lead to an interesting plot for the episode. Thea could now uncover the truth behind her brother's super hero identity and whether the repercussions of this discovery will be good or bad is yet to be seen. Interestingly, Vertigo will revive Canary through a hallucination and things will take a violent between her and the Black Canary. Show executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently gushed about season 3's upcoming episode. "Episode 13 kicks off the next piece of our story, and things get a really crazy from here on out," he told TVLine. "Episodes 13, 14 and 15 are probably the next 'book' or movement in the story, 15 ends with a game-changing twist, and from 16 to 23 it's just one crazy run up to the finish line."
Guggenheim further dished about Laurel's storyline saying, "One big piece of Episode 13 is Laurel and all the things that she's been struggling with -- Sara's death, lying to Quentin, Oliver's disapproval of her being Black Canary. Meanwhile, you've got Oliver who has returned to Starling City and Team Arrow to discover that they have really moved on without him. So, things are not going to be as simple as, 'OK, guys I'm back! Everyone start listening to me again.' He's going to struggle with a brand-new team dynamic, one that is a lot more democratic than he is used to." The official synopsis of Arrow season 3 episode 13 reads: "VERTIGO RETURNS AND PITS CANARY AGAINST BLACK CANARY - Oliver is thrown by the changes within Team Arrow. He's used to calling the shots but sees that the team has evolved in his absence and tensions quickly escalate in the lair. Oliver is furious that Laurel has been going out as the Black Canary and tells her to stop risking her life, but when Vertigo hits the streets again, Laurel goes against Oliver's wishes and tracks down Vertigo who hits her with a full dose of the drug."
"Laurel's biggest fears revolve around her sister Sara so the Vertigo causes her to hallucinate an epic fight between Canary and Black Canary. Meanwhile, Chase surprises Thea, and Roy warns Thea to stay away from Malcolm."
