Ever since producer of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" released a very short promotional clip of the highly anticipated film at the San Diego Comic Con last summer, rabid fans have been eagerly waiting and anticipating the release of a full teaser clip. Well, it seem that the long wait will be cut short as sources have already revealed the exact date when the "Batman V Superman" full promo clip will be released.
Collider reports that the much anticipated promotional clip will debut not on the small screen but on the big screen when "Mad Max: Fury Road" premieres this May - specifically on the 15th of the said month.
Warner Bros. has already confirmed that the release date for the first footage from the much anticipated superhero themed movie will be during the 'Mad Max' premiere and the main reason for this is to avoid competition with another blockbuster film "The Avengers: Age of Ultron." Sources claim that Warner Bros. feels that debuting the snippet for "Batman V Superman" a couple of weeks after the new "Avengers" film premieres will give their movie the chance to "take over the conversation" and build up the hype until it officially hits theaters in 2016.
Additionally, Comicbook has learned that Tom Holkenborg or Junkie Xl is currently working on the teaser trailer which according to him is "so awesome."
Holkenborg also teased on Twitter that he wrote an original music for the "Batman V Superman" trailer, alongside Hans Zimmer.
Prior this confirmation, many speculations on when the full promotional clip will debut surfaced online. The first rumor claimed that the sneak peek will be released alongside the premiere of "The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies." But when the movie premiered, fans were left disappointed by the absence of the "Batman V Superman" snippet.
The same thing happened during the Super Bowl. Obviously, Super Bowl was deemed the perfect venue for promotions because many people are glued to their television screens, watching the game and the colorful commercials all the same. Apparently, no promo clip from the Warner Bros. flick was aired, to the disappointment of many fans.
This time, it's not just pure speculation that the trailer will be released alongside "Mad Max: Fury Road." Fans can now eagerly wait to see the action-packed promo clip on May 15. On the other hand, the full film is set to hit theaters come March 25, 2016.
