Seattle Seahawk QB Russell Wilson and singer Ciara have been going steady for quite some time now, as revealed by San Jose Mercury News. The couple has been present in each other's social media posts and naturally people got curious about what's going on in the bedroom.
This week, Wilson finally opened up about his girlfriend Ciara and their sex life — or lack thereof.
Vibe reported that while he was at San Diego's Rock Church in California for an open forum, the religious quarterback was asked if they have done "it." He clarified that their sex life is zilch, because they practice abstinence because of their faith in God.
During the conversation with Pastor Miles McPherson, Wilson remarked that he had an epiphany that they must observe abstinence while waiting backstage before Ciara's show.
"It was about 15 minutes before she went onstage," Wilson told The Washington Post. "And she was sitting there, and God spoke to me. He said, 'I need you to lead her.' And I was like, 'Really? Right now?'... He goes, 'No, I want you and need you to lead her.' And so I told her, right then and there, 'What would you do if we took all that extra stuff off the table?' Just do it Jesus's way."
Wilson further commented, "He has anointed both of us and I know that he's calling for us to do something miraculous. I told her, 'If you can really love somebody without that, then you can really love somebody.'"
Wilson also requested prayers from attendees remarking, "I ain't gonna lie to y'all now. I need y'all to pray for us. I know you seen her on the screen. If there's a 10, she's a 15. Pray for me. Keep my mind clear. Keep my heart clear."
Thumbs up to you Mr. Wilson. Well said!
Inquisitr detailed that while his views on abstinence is tenacious and may seem unusual for an NFL player, Russell Wilson has always been vocal about his faith. His views have also elicited controversy, especially when he admitted to watching "Fifty Shades of Grey," which has a racy and provocative theme.
