"The Big Bang Theory" stars Kunal Nayyar and Mayim Bialik recently talked about the CBS series at the San Diego Comic Con. The show's writers also appeared in front of the audience for a panel discussion. The panel shared the future of two major characters.
Executive producer Steve Molaro talked about the Shamy (Sheldon and Amy) relationship as Sheldon (Jim Parsons) was about to propose Amy (Mayim Bialik) in the Season 8 finale.
Molaro of course, didn't give enough details to keep the suspense, but did say that Sheldon and Amy's relationship will be the kick starter for "Big Bang Theory" Season 9. Business Insider reported that the epsisode will also take a look at Sheldon's ring on whether or not he really intended to propose to Amy.
Design & Trend reported that the cast of BBT still have no full idea about the ninth season. Nayyar said that the cast members only receive their script on the night before they start filming an episode.
One thing is definite though: Molaro told Hollywood Reporter that Sheldon and Amy will get back together on Season 9.
As for Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco), it remains to be seen how the couple will move on forward, but everyone is hoping to hear wedding bells.
"The Big Bang Theory" also stars Simon Helberg as Howard, Melissa Rauch as Bernadette and Kevin Sussman as Stuart.
Meanwhile, the Jerusalem Post reported that Mayim Bialik combined her passion for the holy land and her stint on BBT by drawing an international CBS team for a photo shoot in Israel. She then described the crew's response to Israel as "overwhelmingly positive."
The photo shoot however, drew some negative responses merely for the fact that she went to Israel. The actress/neuroscientist remarked that people who don't believe in Israel's right to exist is sobering for an American Jew like her.
