Syco confirms that Zayn Malik is still with them. This follows the reports which came out, Thursday, stating that the ex-member of One Direction was set to be released from the company, Time reported.
"Zayn is still with Syco," says a Syco spokesperson.
The British music label, founded by former American Idol judge Simon Cowell, released all of 1D's albums. The same company will guide Malik as he launches his solo career after leaving the group.
While the rumors of Syco dropping Malik was ongoing, Inquisitr has learned that the 22-year-old singer received bigger offers. One of which was from 50 Cent, who said that the deal is ready for Malik anytime he wants it.
Apparently, other bands wanted Malik to join them too. McBusted said, in an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, that they are thinking about inviting Malik to join them.
The Vamps also said that Malik was welcome to join them. However, the deal comes with a couple of terms — do backup vocals, play instrument and do raps. According to Union J, Malik joining them has a supernatural hint.
"I had a dream that he [Zayn Malik] was going to join our band the other day and Josh had the same dream as well. So Zayn Malik if you are reading, please?"
Malik may have left and right offers, but did you know he is banned from releasing any solo music?
After getting into trouble with Naughty Boy for the leak of the collaborative cover of Rae Sremmurd's "No Type," rapper Mic Righteous revealed that Malik was prohibited from releasing solo music for two years.
Was that the reason why he Malik took a break from recording solo materials in June, and reportedly made a front row appearance at Paris Fashion Show?
There are so many speculations about Malik's career, but only time can tell if he can come back again into the music scene.
