‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ SPOILERS: ‘Arrow’ And ‘Flash’ Characters To Team Up Despite Interpersonal Conflicts?

"Legends of Tomorrow" Spoilers — DC Comics fans are definitely excited as their favorite characters from "Arrow" and "The Flash" series will unite for an ultimate superhero spin-off on The CW. In spite of the fact that some characters are villains, which surely be the root cause of conflicts within the group, they will have to work together as they share a common goal — to stop Vandal Savage from destroying the world.

In the "Legends of Tomorrow" series, two conniving characters, Mick Rory aka Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) and Leonard Snart aka Captain Gold (Wentworth Miller) will join forces with a disparate group of heroes and villains to save the world. Though the duo seemed to be working comfortably together, Design & Trend revealed, it will be the other way around with the whole team.

"Heat Wave is not really comfortable in any environment, [because] as you can tell he just explodes at any chance he gets," Purcell said in a recent press event, io9 quoted.

Despite the trouble that the villainous pair might bring to the group, which include Ray Palmer aka The Atom (Brandon Routh), Dr. Martin Stein aka one half of Firestorm (Victor Garber), Kendra Saunders aka Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and Sara Lance aka White Canary (Caity Lotz), Purcell believes their addition to the team is necessary.

"You need the yin and the yang, the good and the bad to make it spark," Purcell, 45, told DC All Access.

Even though they had battled Barry Allen aka The Flash (Grant Gustin) multiple times, Purcell thinks that he and his conspiring partner Captain Gold can also be superheroes and deserve to be part of the "Legends of Tomorrow" team.

"I'm not like Spider-Man or Superman, but Mick Rory and Captain Cold are still just as fascinating, wise, and just as charismatic — just as interesting," Purcell told IGN, "And then the flame gun, I may as well be a superhero because the thing is like an atomic bomb."

Aside from Purcell, Wentworth Miller also shared his own thoughts about Captain Gold's collaboration with the "Legends of Tomorrow" team. And since Vandal Savage will avert him from doing his criminal agenda, Franchise Herald noted that Gold has no choice but to join the superheroes squad.

"If it's en route to him getting what he wants, [he'll do it]," Miller said of his character, "There has to be something in it for Captain Cold. I think Snart will always be bad... But there is something in him that has a code that knows right from wrong, potentially. And if you look at his relationship with his sister [Lisa, aka Golden Glider], there are things that he does care about, and make sacrifices for when push comes to shove."

Meanwhile, since "Legends of Tomorrow" executive producer Phil Klemmer revealed that Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh) will replace Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell) as one-half of the superhero Firestorm, Fashion & Style cited reasons why the character could get killed off on the "Legends of Tomorrow."

"Legends of Tomorrow" will premiere on The CW in January, while the 15-episode first season production will kick off in August, Broadway revealed.
