Bobbi Kristina Brown is dead at 22. Whitney Houston's daughter passed away on July 26 at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, where she was surrounded by her family.
Bobbi Kristina Brown shocked the world early this year when she was found unresponsive in her bathtub at her home in Georgia. She was later put in a medically induced coma at Atlanta's Emory University Hospital. After almost seven months of great medical care, she finally succumbed to her death.
"She is finally at peace in the arms of God," the Houston family said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight, "We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."
A day before Bobbi Kristina Brown's tragic drowning, she took to social media and tweeted about her plans of pursuing a career in Los Angeles. As previously reported, her plans made her lover Nick Gordon furious and end up in physical and mental abuse. However, these claims are still unconfirmed and currently under investigation.
While the family has been dreading Bobbi Kristina Brown's imminent death, a Brown family insider told People that Krissi's condition has deteriorated. In fact, she was "skin and bones" before she moved to the hospice care center.
"She has been losing weight, she's been losing hair," the source said, "They were taking good care of her, but she has no muscle tone at all. There has been some worry that her organs are shutting down."
As news about Bobbi Kristina Brown's death broke out, several personalities took to social media to express their sadness and condolences to her family, Fashion & Style noted.
"The rain is falling. Defeat is calling. I need you to set me free. Take me far away from the battle. I need you. Shine on me. #BobbiKristina," Frankie James Grande tweeted. While Oprah Winfrey wrote, "Peace at Last! #BobbiKristina."
The only daughter of Bobby Brown and the late music icon Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina Brown was introduced into the spotlight at a very early age. Unfortunately, she became an easy target of tabloid scrutiny because of her parents' riotous relationship as well as their flourishing careers — with her dad's series of hit songs and her mother as one of the world's bestselling artist of all time.
With her mother's death on Feb. 11, 2012, where Houston was found dead in a bathtub in her Beverly Hilton Hotel suite, Bobbi Kristina Brown suffered a hysterical breakdown and was treated for severe stress and anxiety.
Prior to Bobbi Kristina Brown's transfer to the hospice center, she was moved to a rehabilitation facility for almost two months until June 24.
For now, the Browns and the Houstons, who are reportedly feuding over Bobbi Kristina Brown's mega millions, will deal with Krissi's death and funeral as it turned into a full-blown media circus.
Since Bobbi Kristina Brown is already dead, the big question now is: Who will get Krissi's almost $115 million inheritance?
