"American Horror Story" Season 5 might get a little hotter and darker after revealing few of its cast members who will be joining the hit anthology series, which would take place in a hotel.
Lady Gaga is said to be the team player this season after Jessica Lange's departure from the FX series. Gaga is said to be the queen villain this season.
Over the past week, another celebrity has been confirmed to act in the said show and she is no other than supermodel Naomi Campbell, but her character is still a mystery, Moviepilot has learned. Sources say she could either be Gaga's ally or foe.
Meanwhile, netizens were surprised and excited after learning that Gaga is joining the cast of "American Horror Story," even the show's veteran actor Evan Peters revealed his reaction when he found out that Lady Gaga is one of the stars of Season 5, subtitled "Hotel."
"First of all, I didn't know the name of the show and second of all, I didn't know that Lady Gaga was going to be on it," Design&Trend reported.
Peters, who will play Dr. March in the new season, couldn't wait to work and meet Gaga on set. But Peters isn't the only returning "American Horror Story" actor who is excited to work with the 29-year-old "Born This Way" hitmaker. Matt Bomer, who will play Donovan, and Sarah Paulson expressed their excitement over the opportunity to work with Gaga.
"I think she's a profoundly gifted artist," Bomer told Entertainment Tonight. "I really looking forward to collaborating with her, because I know she's going to bring so much to the table. I know loosely what our storyline is so I'm really excited about that."
"I will not have succeeded in this season if I do not have a way of contacting her directly, like a cell phone number, by the end of the season," Paulson told The Wrap. "It will be very embarrassing to me if we don't become really tight, close friends. The fact that I'm announcing that I want that is what should be terrifying to Lady Gaga."
Interestingly, according to Breathecast, Ryan Murphy revealed that Lady Gaga's part in the show was specifically written for her and that her character will be highly involved in fashion.
Murphy said, "When you work with someone like her, you sign up for something that is larger than life and I think that's what you want," he said. "Part of her role involves fashion. You want Lady Gaga to look a certain way. The designers have been coming out of the woodwork with looks for her."
