Did Rihanna ditch boyfriend Karim Benzema for Lewis Hamilton? It's not surprising to see RiRi and Hamilton together as they were recently seen at a New York City restaurant and a nightclub before going back to her penthouse, Harper's Bazaar noted.
After Rihanna's rumored breakup with boyfriend and Real Madrid footballer Karim Benzema, she is now allegedly dating British Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton. According to The Sun, the 27-year-old "B—h Better Have My Money" singer was seen enjoying a meal at Da Silvano in New York last Saturday. Later that night, the alleged couple was spotted at 1 OAK nightclub before returning to RiRi's Big Apple penthouse to continue on partying into the early hours.
"They've had a flirtation for years and have always fancied each other, but since May this year they've been talking a lot," an insider revealed through Latin Post. "Finally their schedules allowed them to spend a weekend in the same part of the world and they made the most of it."
Despite both their busy schedules, RiRi has invited the 30-year-old Brit hunk to her show in Brazil in September.
"They are both really busy but Rihanna has asked him to come to 'Rock in Rio' in September so he can see her perform and spend time together," the source said.
An insider also revealed that though Lewis Hamilton knew that Rihanna is a notorious heartbreaker, he is still a bit enamored with the "Diamonds" songstress and doesn't only think that she's sexy but amazingly funny as well.
It was reported that, in 2013, Lewis Hamilton had upset former girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger after she learned about his partying tryst with Rihanna in a Monaco casino. Two years earlier, the reportedly dating couple, Rihanna and Hamilton, was photographed at the Canadian Grand Prix, News.com.au reported. To top it off, they were seen sitting together at the Met Gala after-party table, earlier this 2015.
"That's when things between them started heating up again," a source close to Rihanna said. "They started talking on text and it became constant and very, very flirty. It was all about when they might be in the same town together and how they'd spend it."
Meanwhile, several dating rumors claimed that Rihanna is currently nursing a broken heart after her alleged breakup with boyfriend Karim Benzema. As per E! News, RiRi and the 27-year-old French professional footballer ignited relationship gossip in June after they were seen at a popular 24/7 Cuban diner in New York City. The "S&M" hitmaker met the Real Madrid striker at the diner while enjoying an early morning meal.
Moreover, after Rihanna and her alleged boyfriend Karim Benzema's photos were featured on Daily Mirror, an insider confirmed that they are indeed dating but are taking things slow. However, Benzema was also linked to Chris Brown's former girlfriend Karrueche Tran in June.
Earlier this week, another source dispelled the rumors. As per Urban Islandz, Rihanna and Karim Benzema are just friends and are not in any form of intimate relationship. Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, has reportedly a budding relationship with "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star Kendall Jenner.
