Sadie Robertson Brain Tumor - The 18-year-old "Duck Dynasty" star is asking for your prayers, so she can have the miracle she is asking from above. The "DWTS" alum is not asking for help and support for herself, but for a child who has this serious case of brain tumor.
According to Country Rebel, Sadie Robertson took to social media —particularly to Instagram — to share the story of a brain tumor-stricken child named Katie Joyce.
On her post on July 29, Sadie shared a snap of the young patient and captioned it: "This is Katie Joyce - Her family found out she has a brain tumor and its on her brain stem which inoperable (sic). The doctors say we need a miracle. The only thing that can fix this is if we storm the gates of heaven."
She continued: "Write comments of encouragement & if you know someone who needs prayer feel free to write it in a comment & I will pray for all of you as well."
Of course, the young "Duck & Dynasty" star quickly got a lot of positive feedback from her fans and followers. As proof to this, her post attracted over 8,000 comments and approximately 157,000 likes on Wednesday morning, as per Fox News. The post now has more than 9,000 comments and over 158,000 likes as of writing.
The "Dancing with the Stars" Season 19 runner-up has just proven once again that she is still the sweet and prayerful girl everyone has grown to love and like through the A&E reality series with this remarkable gesture. Hence, it is not surprising that many quickly offered their support to the brain tumor patient and to Robertson as well.
One commenter wrote: "Praying for you and your family Katie Jeremiah 29:11 'For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.' God can make a miracle out of this."
Another showed sympathy by writing: "My prayers go out for this sweet girl. I know the pain, confusion and troubling time her family is facing. My father was diagnosed with brain cancer in February 2014, since being diagnosed he's had 3 brain surgeries and the tumor has become two and is no inoperable as well. Let's pray for a miracle for this sweet girl and my dad. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!"
Finally, another commenter wrote a quick but meaningful prayer as per Inquisitr. It read: "Dear Lord, help this young girl with this current situation. Help her parents have to ability to watch her grow up and become a wonderful human being. Amen."
Sadie Robertson's brain tumor post continues to generate more comments, likes and prayers.
