"The Walking Dead" Season 6 will be the most terrifying season ever when it returns with quite some gruesome scenes featuring the most rancid and grimiest zombies. In the latest pictures published by Daily Express, the undead members of the series appeared pretty horrible.
In one of the images taken from "The Walking Dead" Season 6 set, the zombie has its face torn off, which included two deep hollows where the eyes should be. Another scary snap revealed an undead with slash down its face. But what makes this one even scarier is the blade sticking out on the back of its neck.
As the post-apocalyptic series returns later this year, the excitement has intensified over "The Walking Dead" Season 6. And it does not just offer stomach-churning zombies but also heart-racing scenes.
Aside from the horrific zombies, "The Walking Dead" Season 6 also depicts the struggles of Rick's crew to blend in Alexandria. According to iDigitalTimes, Norman Reedus recently dished out the details for the series' upcoming season. Reedus said that the upcoming season will be different from other seasons because Rick's crew isn't fighting to survive in the wild, instead they are struggling for stability in Alexandria.
"Season 6 is much different than the previous seasons," Reedus told Entertainment Weekly. "It's kind of our group being okay with stability and fighting stability and figuring out if we can actually live with other people."
In addition to Rick's crew, there's also Morgan, a new wild card in Alexandria who could shift the power but is already a changed man when the show returns. As Morgan appears to have found some peace and desire to live, Lennie James aka Morgan recently said that "The Walking Dead" Season 6 trailer doesn't convey the full story.
"I can tell you that a lot of the trailer isn't necessarily literal," James told Access Hollywood. "So it's about the themes and the theme that Morgan brings to Alexandria and the theme of, you know, the ethos that Morgan has, which is that all of life is precious and he's no longer gonna kill people anymore."
Andrew Lincoln aka Rick Grimes revealed that "The Walking Dead" Season 6 storylines just get deeper as the story progresses and it has undeniably the most ambitious scripts ever.
It other news, the spin-off series "Fear The Walking Dead" is also set to premiere this 2015. The spin-off, which can be watched without seeing its predecessor "The Walking Dead," is set at the beginning of the outbreak and follows a different group of survivors struggling against the undead.
"The Walking Dead" Season 6 will premiere on AMC on Oct. 11.
