Tom Brady has a lot of things going on his life lately. Amid the Deflatgate controversy and his appeal on the case comes another shocking event in his life when it was revealed on Wednesday that the NFL player is going to face wife Gisele Bundchen in a divorce battle.
The New England Patriots quarterback and his retired runway model wife are reportedly headed to a divorce after six year of being together. And as per Hollywood Life, the split is going to lead them to a $460 million divorce battle.
Brady, who is accused of deflating footballs during the NFL championship, is to serve a 4-game suspension for the controversy. So it's quite sad to hear that amid his legal battle with the Deflategate controversy comes his marital battle with Bundchen.
The 38-year-old footballer, who appealed in court in June, once again faced the high-profile NFL case on Wednesday. Eventually, he might not only appear in court to face the repercussions of the case, but also to settle his divorce with Gisele.
According to an OK! magazine insider, Brady and Bundchen's relationship has been strained for quite some time now. The insider was even quoted as saying: "Things between Tom and Gisele have been strained for a long time."
However, this is very contrary to what Bundchen has been sharing to fans via the social media. The retired runway model has been posting on Instagram photographs of her and her family and even captioning them with sweet messages for Brady.
But a source insisted that this is just for show, saying: "Gisele is ramping up the social media activity because her marriage is breaking down."
Another insider said the couple had been "fighting every other day for weeks."
Both Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have yet to respond to the news on their rumored divorce, but International Business Times pointed out that the Brazilian fashion model took to Instagram on Tuesday to voice out a cryptic message which read: "People often forget that kindness is free."
