Miley Cyrus recently revealed that she became friends with the "I Am Cait" star Caitlyn Jenner. At the same time, the 22-year-old singer also revealed that she faced some issues while she was doing "Hannah Montana."
The Hollywood actress said during her interview with Marie Claire that they have been talking and sharing stories with Jenner.
"We've talked a lot about how you can never make every single person happy," the "So Undercover" actress said.
"We always laugh about people saying she transitioned to be famous," she continued. "Which is crazy."
The new-found friendship of Cyrus and Jenner may not seem too surprising, according to E! News.
It appears natural for the two to become friends, as per New York Daily News, especially that Cyrus was open to supporting the 65-year-old former Olympian with her transition.
Furthermore, the "Last Song" actress is a known advocate and supporter of the LGBT community. She even launched the foundation called Happy Hippie, which helps the homeless and at-risk LGBT youths.
Cyrus seems to be more comfortable with herself now than before when she was doing "Hannah Montana." Talking about her Disney days, the former child star revealed that growing up on the show gave her some personal issues.
Hannah Montana was pop star, so she said she had to be this blonde girl with a long hair, donning makeups and wearing some glittery stuffs. It gave her an unrealistic beauty standards, she told the same magazine.
It even reached to a point that she was already asking who she really is because she was made to look someone she wasn't. The worst part was, she began suffering from anxiety attacks.
"I'd get hot flashes, feel like I was about to pass up or throw up," Cyrus revealed. "It would happen a lot before shows, and I'd have to cancel."
