Christine Ouzounian, the woman alleged to be the reason behind Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's split, is said to have been set to marry her boyfriend when she entered into a relationship with the A-list male celebrity.
The 28-year-old was engaged to Christoph Albury, a commercial lobster fisherman in the Bahamas, at the time she hooked up with the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor, the Inquisitr has learned.
Albury reportedly proposed to Ouzounian in 2013, and a photo of the pair with the California-native flashing her engagement ring was posted on Facebook later that year. In another snap posted July 2014, the two are seen snuggling together with Ouzounian once again showing off her rock.
Ouzounian's work as a nanny for celebrities did not sit well with Albury, causing him to doubt whether the glamorous lifestyle would someday be the reason for her leaving him.
"Christoph had been afraid he would lose her when she started nannying for celebrities," an insider told Ok! Magazine on its August 14 issue.
Albury is described by a neighbor as a "decent guy, nice, very quiet." The neighbor said he used to see the couple, but hadn't seen Ouzounian around lately.
"I used to see them hanging around. I don't know what happened," said the neighbor. "This island life isn't for everyone. It can be quite boring. There are no shopping malls and everything closes at 6 p.m. If you're not from here, it's hard to adjust. It's a totally different lifestyle."
Meanwhile, despite the continuous denial of the cheating scandal by Affleck's camp, The Cut reported that the blonde was pictured on a private plane with Jennifer Garner's ex-husband and Tom Brady wearing all of the NFL star's Super Bowl rings.
Affleck's indiscretion with his children's ex-nanny has apparently added insult to his already injured relationship with Garner as they were reported to have a rather awkward reunion together with the kids during a trip to Universal Orlando Studios on Saturday.
The kids were treated to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in celebration of Affleck's 43rd birthday, but neither Garner nor her estranged husband "looked to happy," according to an onlooker.
"They didn't even look at each other. They were talking to the kids, but they didn't talk or even look in each other's direction," the onlooker told People. "They seemed like strangers — awkward strangers."
