Bad girl Riri took to instagram her adamant denial on the dating rumors hinted by basketball player Matt Barnes in an interview made by TMZ to the baller last week.
Rihanna posted a printscreen of Barnes' TMZ interview and used hashtags to show her dismay in the NBA player's statement that they have been to several dates by writing #thedevilisaliar, #shesneverevenmetyou and #thisactuallyhurtmyfeelings among other multitudes of hashtags, Billboard scooped.
The 35 year-old Memphies Grizzlies athlete was quoted in the interview saying "Rihanna's my friend right now, so we'll see where it goes. I think it's just past the right stage, just a little bit," Inquisitr wrote.
The entire social media backed up the RNB star in slamming Barnes through tweets and memes posted by her fans online. Sun Times Network captured Barnes' enemy in NBA, Serge Ibaka mocking Barnes by tweeting "This is what happens when you talk too much. Lol!"
A fan supported the 27 year-old pop star by criticizing Barnes in a tweet saying that being an NBA player does not allow anyone to lead on people that he is dating Rihanna. Meanwhile Glamour fashion magazine gave its take on the issue by posting a short clip of a smoldering Rihanna waving her finger on twitter. On the other hand, Sports Illustrated tweeted why Rihanna should actually date Matt Barnes.
The said instagram post has already reached over 220,000 likes and 17,000 comments supporting the phenomenal pop star.
With the current situation, magazines and fans of Riri, who has a staggering 24.5 million instagram followers, thinks it's safe to say that Barnes will not be able to score a date with the pop star anytime soon.
The "FourFiveSeconds" singer was also linked with Lewis Hamilton as they were seen together on a yacht in Barbados, last month, US Magazine writes.
