Christina Milian dead nephew — Singer-songwriter Christina Milian's sister Danielle gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday, but instead of celebrating life, the newborn's birth was completely overshadowed with sadness after the baby passed away due to a rare condition called omphalocele.
Christina's sister took to Instagram to announce the passing of her son through a meaningful message. "Yesterday I was blessed with the birth of my Richie Bear. Unfortunately, last night he took his place with the Lord and we said goodbye. I so appreciate the prayers and support from everyone. He touched my heart and was perfect in so many ways," the "Christina Milian Turned Up" star wrote as caption to a black and white photo showing a baby's handprint near her heart, as reported by Fox News.

The sad news came after a day after Danielle took to Twitter and Instagram to announce the birth of her son Richie through a snap of the baby boy's little foot. She captioned the photo "Baby Richie has arrived! #prayersup for my #babyboy...He is already a fighter!" as quoted by E! News.

The death of Christina Milian's nephew was already a possibility since Danielle found out that she was pregnant with a baby suffering with omphalocele in March. She found out about her baby's condition following an ultrasound.
"The tech said, 'I can't see the sex...because I am seeing...intestines,'" Danielle said at the time. "I was told there's almost a 53 percent chance of mortality."
Us Weekly has learned that Christina Milian's sister was actually advised by doctors to terminate her pregnancy with her son to husband Richard Dickerson, but the couple took the chance to give life to Richie in hopes of overcoming the greatest battle the baby boy's facing even when he was still inside his mother's womb.
"I said to [Richard], 'Could you live with this?' Because I know can. I know I could be in a hospital every day," she previously told Us Weekly before adding, "As a mother, I will do whatever it takes for my child...No matter how long he has in this world, I could not imagine taking his chance away."
Omphalocele is a birth defect characterised by an opening in the belly button or navel. Abdominal organs are typically protruding outside of the body through this opening, according to MedlinePlus.
