Michael Schumacher Health [UPDATE]: Current Health Condition Remains Blurry Amid Media Blackout; No More Race For Former F1 Superstar But Fans Hope For Miracles

Up until now, updates on Michael Schumacher's current health condition has remained blurry. Despite the media blackout requested by Schumacher's family, friends and fans of the F1 superstar continue to support his reported recovery.

Michael Schumacher is reportedly recovering at home in Switzerland following a serious head injury from a skiing accident in the Alpine Ski resort of Meribel, France in December 2013. As previously reported, the accident left him in a medically-induced coma for six months. Fortunately, Schumacher had come out from his coma and was discharged from the hospital last June.

On Dec. 29, 2013, Michael Schumacher's suffered a head injury that was caused by hitting a rock after falling while skiing with his son. Nearly two years after the accident, his health status remains bleak. But his recovery is believed to be making progress. Currently, he is being treated at home by medical experts 24/7. A special clinic has been built on the estate of the seven-time F1 World Champ so he can get the proper care and treatment needed.

In spite of having very little information about Michael Schumacher's condition, fans and friends continue to show their love and support to him and his family. According to Australia Network News, Schumacher's former rival and F1 champion Mika Hakkinen has sent his support and well wishes to the recovering racer.

"I hope and pray that those encouraging signs are continuing still," Hakkinen said, Vine Report quoted. "No, he will never race again; no, he may never walk again; he may never talk again, for all I know. But, on the other hand, he may. Miracles sometimes occur, and I for one dearly hope that a miracle occurs for Michael some time soon. Keep fighting, my old friend."

In his recent blog post, Hakkinen also shared some of his memorable encounter with Michael Schumacher, Christian Today noted.

"This blog would not be complete without my saying something about Michael now, rather than merely describing one of my battles with Michael then," he continued. "I do not profess to know the details of his condition, but I was pleased to see that in a video interview released a couple of months ago his manager Sabine Kehm said that his condition was slowly improving."

"He was a terrifically combative competitor, but you could say that about all the great champions," Hakkinen added, as per NBC Sports. "You do not win seven world championships by being soft-hearted, and Michael was never that; but he was a superb driver, one of the best in the history of the sport in fact."
